Worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am
We understand visiting a new church can be a nervous or stressful time. But here at the First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs, you'll find some of the friendliest people in the area, full of energy and warmth, ready to welcome you and your family as soon as you reach the front door! We'll be more than happy to help you every step of the way through our morning worship service.
Our Sunday morning schedule:
9 a.m. — Sunday School classes for adults and children (Pre-K through 5th grade)
10:00 a.m. — Worship Service. This worship service features both hymns and contemporary songs, liturgy, prayers, and an uplifting message. People of all ages are invited, and families with children are welcome.
Children are always welcome in worship. We'd love to have your children in worship, wiggles and all! Busy Bags and quiet books and puzzles are available in the back of the sanctuary.
Amenities: Our church facility has public restrooms with baby changing stations in the narthex opposite the sanctuary. There is also a family restroom for your convenience. Our building also includes a fellowship hall for receptions, a kitchen, a prayer chapel and so much more. A tour of our facilities can be arranged by talking to one of our ushers or greeters.
